To initiate a return or exchange, please use the AI agent located on the lower right hand corner of your screen. The agent will ask you information about your order number and contact information, and about the item in question. Follow the instructions with the agent to process your return/exchange. We do have humans watching every chat session with the agent to make sure it has understood your request correctly.
Exchanges (not returns) are free if you correctly used the sizing tool and followed the sizing recommendations on the product page. If you need to process an exchange, use the AI chat icon on the lower right hand section of our website, it will guide you through the exchange process.
Returns are not free if you receive an item and decide you don't like it or changed your mind. We will approve your return, but you will be responsible for the return shipping and you will not be refunded the original shipping charge. The post office did its job, it still needs to get paid. This return policy is the same as most major retailer such as Amazon,, etc. You will be refunded the cost of the item and any taxes that you paid only.
Returns are only free if you DID use the sizing tools and charts and purchased the recommendation. If you did not use the sizing charts and recommendation tool and winged it, you get to pay the shipping to return the item to us. We try to put these resources on the site to help you accurately size our apparel items on the first try, so you don't have to deal with returns and exchanges! This includes hats. Every hat page has a sizing chart that you can see as you scroll down the page. You will have to actually measure your head circumference with a seamstress tape in order to know the size of your head and how many snaps you can get for each different style of hat. You cannot return a hat without not having actually measured your head and demonstrated that our hat sizing chart is incorrect (it is not).
Blood Run Fishing will give a full refund or on all non-sale items returned within 30 days of sale meeting the requirements set forth above and condition to the exceptions listed on this page.
- Returns must be returned within 30 days of date shown on invoice.
- All returns (not exchanges) incur the original shipping fee you paid for the items being returned (unless we sent you an incorrect item, or the item was damaged).
- Item(s) must be in new, unworn, unwashed condition. Items that do not meet these standards will be returned to the customer at the expense of the customer.
- Customer does not pay shipping cost for the return package if the sizing recommendation tool was wrong OR an error was made on our part in order fulfillment. If you make a claim that our hat sizing tool is incorrect (it is not), you are required to provide us a video of you measuring the circumference of your head with a seamstress tape. For instructions on how to send us that video, ask the chat agent on the home page and it will provide you the correct email address.
- The return package should be sent via a shipping method with tracking service and delivery confirmation to protect against damage, loss or theft, as refunds are otherwise unable to be provided for any items that are lost or damaged in the return shipment.
- Credit for returned items may be refunded back only to the original form of payment.
- Item(s) received as gifts may be returned; however, credit for returns may be applied only to the original form of payment.
- Sale items are not eligible for return.
