What is so special about your braid?
There are two top quality braided fibers available in the world, Dyneema and Spectra. Our braid is constructed with four strand Dyneema, produced in Japan. Our braiding process ensures that the strands are fused together to prevent undwinding and chafing in planer board releases and around structures or obstructions when casting or jigging.
What is the difference between your Killzone and Bloodline braid?
Bloodline is the more economical four strand version of braid, built for dependability at an affordable price. Killzone is an 8 strand coated premium braid for extreme abrasion resistance and casting ability.
Can I run your braided lines on downrigger rods, diver rods and backer for planer rods?
Absolutely. Both are designed with toughness and durability in mind. We suggest the more economical (and brighter colored) bloodline for planer board backing, the eight strand coated low vis green Killzone for diver and downrigger rods.
Does your braided line reduce wind drag on planer rods when used as backer?
Yes. Braided line is the ultimate planer trolling rod backer material due to it's light weight and thin diameter. It reduces wind drag, and line sagging which can cause planer boards to cross. It's smaller diameter also allows you to put more on your reels for greater capacity. And it's longevity is significantly longer than that of mono.
