The truth about our Tournament Mono

The truth about our Tournament Mono

Frequently Asked Questions
What is so special about this Tournament Mono line?
What's the importance of line diameter and why do you highlight that?
.013" diameter is the "industry standard" diameter that most guys use to reference dive curves for various stick baits while trolled. If the diameter were smaller, your attained depth would be greater than your buddy who's smacking fish running the same distance back from the board. If the diameter was larger, your bait would be higher than your buddy who's smacking them. Everyone uses .013" diameter, you should too!
I use Offshore boards with OR style releases, black or red, and I break your line and lose boards. What should I do?
Step into modern trolling and upgrade to Snappers on your front release, and just use an oversize snap swivel in the rear. OR style releases have rubber pads inside them, and a plastic pin. Your rubber pads are grooved or completely gone, and the pin inside has a groove cut in the backside of it. Our line chafes on the hard plastic because your rubber pads are shot, and it breaks. Eliminate the problem with a simple upgrade in release configuration. All of the tournament pro's do it for a reason.
Can I spool up your mono on my spinning or baitcast reel and fish for bass with it?
For sure! This is one tough durable smooth casting line that does great on both baitcast and spinning reels. For those days where you need a little stretch, pull out your mono setups and catch them up. Plenty of tournament pro's still use mono, it's not all braid all the time!
