Over the last several years I have used dozen of different hooks for our winter steelhead fishery. Our steelhead fishery is difficult to explain but the jist is we are bobber dogging double bead rigs. On an average day we are breaking off 25-30 leaders a day. Hook cost is a huge deal in this fishery as we can use up to 1000+ hooks a season. Because we are snagging so much hook durability is also a huge deal. Other hooks I have had will bend out and break. Or break when attempting to bend them back. Often times other brand hooks will bend the hook points over and make them unusable. I don't have any of these issue with the bloodrun skeena. They never roll the hook points. They very seldom bend and when they do they are easy to bend back and are still strong enough to keep a fish pinned. To get to the point, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for offering a hook that is cost effective, strong and durable. I firmly believe my hook/land ratio has grown exponentially since running the bloodrun skeena hooks. I look forward to making my next order and continuing to run bloodrun in my boat for years to come.

The Skeena fishing hook by Blood Run Fishing is constructed of carbon black forged steel in an extremely light weight design.

Sizes 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0 are designed for skein fishing with egg loops, and are less than 1/2" hook to shank.

This is not a bead flossing hook for salmon.

Utilizing extra heavy wire to eliminate hook twists and bending on power sets, these chemically sharpened tapered beak float hooks are specifically designed for drop shotting, live bait, roe/bag float fishing, cut bait/trolling fly, and crawler harness applications.

The slightly turned up eye is ideal for snelling, and the reverse hook point will hook perfectly every time when other single hook designs cannot.

Available in Black Nickel color, packs of 100, in a wide range of sizes to cover all fishing conditions and applications.
  • Available in sizes #10 - 3/0
  • Black Nickel Finish
  • Forged Carbon Steel Wire
